I have a couple friends that are of the mind that any Yuri is a good read regardless of the contents and I know that in some cases, it's so difficult to find a good one that you "take what you can get"....
I don't like that. If it's a situation where it's subversive and it's actually poking fun at the trope in a way that's fun to read then I'm down for it, but simply just swapping the main character and calling it a day isn't the sort of vibe I'm looking for. I've suffered through playing enough male Persona protagonists at this point that a book doing what I've already been forced to for years doesn't have enough novelty to convince me to try it. |

Hold the phone, is this just Absolute Boyfriend(took me too long to find the name cause I kept thinking it was rental boyfriend) but with a slight twist?
well the art looks pretty so I'll give it a read but I hope there's more to the story than just comedy. Unless the comedy is that good. |

I agree with you. It's not what *I* want in a Yuri manga, but I'm glad it exists for those who do.
