It's more of the fact DK and Mario Kart are the only new/exclusive games. Ports or Switch 2 versions of games like Jamboree just aren't that appealing and not why people bought a Switch 2.

But the Switch 2 is backwards compatible with its predecessor's game and I can imagine most people who bought the Switch 2 had already bought Mario Party Jamboree for the original Switch, I don't if the game has a free update for the Switch 2, but I can see why Jamboree's Nintendo Switch 2 Edition ins't selling that much
