One Piece Fan Letter was based on another story collection and it was a masterpiece. So I'm really excited to see what they do with Heroines.

I would prefer this to the anime taking breaks or doing recaps. I'd also like to see cover stories animated while we're at it.

I'm curious to see how they do this since they mention they're short stories. Maybe a few episode with one or two stories each... (not sure how long they are...)
Hopefully they all get animated =)
@Nekbone Yeah, there's a lot of written material they could animate instead of just doing filler. I think Naruto did something similar, animating it's novels, so it'd be nice to see that done for OP as well.

Almost certainly it'll take the Fan Letter route. Be a one-off TV special that in broad strokes touches on all the short stories from the anthology but focuses on two of them in particular (most likely Nami and Robin's given the poster, incorporating some elements of the extra chapters)

The website mentiones that it's an episode, so the stories will be intertwined ala Fan Letter.

It's debatable how canon the Ace light novel is that relaunched the line but this one is firmly non-canon. Will Toei lean into this? Who knows. Fan Letter, for example, barely resembled it´s anthology LN. If they committed 2 adaptations, then more is in the wings.

After we're all dead. Oda's long-dead yet still-drawing skeleton will release the final chapter precisely one week before the sun goes supernova and engulfs the planet. Review-Bot 5000 will say it was a wonderful conclusion to the saga, but as a single chapter, it was at best a B-.
