I remember during the game's Xbox Series port announcement, it was mentioned that it would arrive in the winter. I thought that meant it would arrive for the holiday season, but now that I think about it, that wouldn't have been a good release date, I believe there's going to be some big title in December. Releasing the port at the end of January doesn't sound that bad, though that makes me wonder if it means that the Rebirth ports for Switch 2 and Xbox Series will be released in 2027, because I think Tetsuya Nomura mentioned that the development of Part 3 of the FFVII Remake Project is going smoothly and I feel that Part 3 could arrive in 2027 to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the original Final Fantasy VII, but Square-Enix has confirmed that all of the game in the FFVII Remake Project will be released on all platforms, but I don't know if Sony still has temporary exclusive rights for Part 3 or if the game will be released on all platforms simultaneously.
Aside from that, it seems the Switch 2 port of FFVII Remake Intergrade will be a Key Card Game, which I know it's a disappointment for many, but apparently the game's file size exceeds the storage limit of the Switch 2 Game Cards, though knowing S-E, I'm sure they would have released it on a Game Card even if the game could've fit on a card. But it seems other developers, like the ones who worked on Star Wars Outlaws' Switch 2 port, mentioned that games run or load faster on the Switch 2's internal storage, or Express Micro SD card, compared to Nintendo's Game Cards.
