These folks turned around the true Castlevania continuation series, during a time when Mighty No.9 had lost players the faith in Kickstarted gaming projects. As I get older, I have to reconcile that the artistic and creative heroes I looked up to in my youth aren't likely to be around much longer, but man....

It never gets easier...
I'm gonna cry more than I did when Robin Williams died when Shigeru Miyamoto passes away. That man made my childhood to today still. Just hearing people how he would just "climb" in the BotW prototype just tells me while he may have a few duds here and there like Steven Spielberg he still knows game design.
We all knew this was coming hearing from his friends and co-workers but still, Shutaro Iida-san RIP. You really knocked it out of the park with those underrated Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon games and Ritual of the Night was what I thought a 2.5D Aria of Sorrow game would look like.

I knew he was sick but this is still sudden to me. He was a legend and it's sad to hear and the world is worse off with him gone. Here's to his last work in the new Bloodstained to carry on his legacy.

Dude was one of Iga's right hand men during his Castlevania days, serving as chief programmer for Aria of Sorrow all the way through to Harmony of Despair where he was director. What a legend
