i feel like i should be saying something snarky here, but if i'm honest, i'm still kinda impressed that a show about a vending machine is able to get 3 seasons, the power of kadok- i mean isekai anime...

And brought back the books that stopped in 2017.

But i wonder if we are getting a 4th season or if it is ending in the 3rd, as “entering the final arc” doesn’t mean it is ending, or it is Japanese not having solid meanings again

It's so weird that out of the small percentage of manga and novel adaptations that finish the source material, the Vending Machine isekai anime is one of them.

It's probably ending at the third season, as going by the original webnovel content, they have enough to adapt for one last season.

This is definitely an interesting thing to see play out. An anime based on an already canceled book series didn't seem to make sense at the time, and now here it is resuscitating the series and getting three seasons.

The basic premise is goofy enough to get at least that curiosity to try it, but I've found it to be pretty decent overall.

Gotta be honest about this one, I'm shocked this got a second, let alone third season. I watched the first season and thought it was pretty dreadful, so I didn't even bother watching the second season.

I enjoyed the first season for what it was, but ended up dropping the second season, as it felt like it had already done about all that it could with its shtick, and lacked any real element to keep me hooked. Very much surprised it's getting a third.

I swear the quality of isekai has seriously dropped. I mean is this the best they can do?

I'm not big on isekai or fantasy outside of some of the bigger titles (Konosuba, Re:Zero, Tanya, Mushuko Tensei, Cautious Hero) but I found this one to be enjoyable so I'll definitely be continuing it.

I mean, this is a step above your average bunch of isekai and fantasy slop we get every season. It isn't anything special, but it does have a certain charm that a lot of shows don't have.

I personally enjoy this one and I think it's more fun than a lot of the other reincarnated as an object isekai. Boxxo is just such a fun lead and I like seeing how he gets through various situations and his bond with Lammis is cute. I also appreciate besides one annoying character I didn't like in s2 it's mostly a wholesome isekai without the usual worst tropes of the genre so I'm glad it's lasted this long and we look to be getting a complete adaptation.
