i SWEAR they changed the art style between those 4 years of dead silence. it looks different for some reason...
also, one thing i really wanted to talk about with this show - and this gives me a good excuse to do that - was i remember one of the visuals for the first season had marie in a chair and all of these other guys surrounding her...it looked cool, but i have a feeling the show isn't like that at all...

it has changed a little bit, but it might also to help convey the tone of this volume it's gonna cover. and the show is very different, it's more so a dark-ish comedy, but this arc is where it's start to have a serious tone to it.
Like i had forgot how dense this single volume of the light novel is. Season 1 is based on the volume 1 - 2 of the light novel (1-7 in the manga) Season 2 is gonna be based just on Volume 3 of the light novel for many reasons but the best show is that the manga version of single LN volume is 6 volums in the manga. A lot of stuff is happening.

...that does make sense. thought the art style for season 1 looked pretty nice, just questioning it...

just to clarify Season 1 only covered the first novel only due to where it ended.
