Oh, while I thought that One Piece game looked like a mobile game, I thought since it was in the direct it was only for consoles. Makes sense now.
Hopefully ZZZ 3.0 is good =)

Yeah, Summer Showcases, Directs, and States of Play can be particularly annoying because there aren't any rules preventing companies from hiding the multiplatform status of the games in them, which they do with gusto. If you only went by showcase coverage one might think that Persona games after Persona 5 were all Xbox-exclusive!

Xbox used to mention other platforms, but after complaints from their fans, decided to follow Sony and Nintendo by not mentioning other platforms in its own showcase

Considering I saw some people acting like it was a 'Nintendo win' that Kingdom Hearts 4 was announced during the Nintendo direct rather than PlayStation or Xbox or PC the console war fanboys certainly don't help the practice by attributing value to it. Makes me wonder if people will attribute multiplatform games to certain consoles just based on which showcase it was in. I guess Persona is an Xbox franchise now.

They absolutely do this, at least around showcase time as you mentioned. I've seen a few on social media that occasionally pretend Persona is an Xbox series because of whatever promotional agreement they've got going with Microsoft, but folks pushing that view quickly get dunked on, thankfully.

I'm not much into mobile sim games but the One Piece game does look cute. The problem is I doubt it'll keep my attention for long. Unless it's as fleshed out as a Stardew Valley or Tavern Keeper style of game I'm not sure I'll play it for more than a week or two.

I feel the same way about the One Piece game. The art style and concept are charming, but mobile life sims often struggle to keep players engaged once the initial novelty wears off.
If it has meaningful progression, lots of character interactions, and regular content updates, it could have some staying power. Otherwise, I can see it becoming one of those games people enjoy for a couple of weeks and then forget about. The One Piece setting might carry it further than most, though.
