Can anyone recomend somewhere online that still has copies of Fate/Stay Night Vol 5 available? 1 - 4 and 6 are everywhere but 5 seems pretty much impossible to find. Cheaper is of course better, but I would appreciate hearing about anywhere that at least still has it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Tower.com has it. I've never shopped from there before so you might want to check it out first. And Bargain Anime also has it.

Actually, I don't believe it's in stock at Tower. The other volumes are, but that one has a 3-5 week ship date, suggesting that it's it out of stock.

That's true, I didn't' notice that. Maybe that is a guarantee that they will get it though?

While not a place to buy it Netflix does have it for rent if you still need to simply watch it. As for owning it there's always eBay. None of the 6 stores I shop at have it in stock.

eBay was actually one of the first places I looked, and there are no auctions for it. I also checked on half.com which is a subsidiary of eBay and it wasn't in stock.

Yeah, I tried Bargain Anime. I ordered it there on the 14th and emailed them about it a couple days ago. I still haven't heard anything back. It looks pretty unlikely that I will be getting it from them at this point.

I apreciate all the responses though. Thanks everybody.

I've checked over a dozen online stores, and none have it. However, the local Suncoast (Scranton, PA) had four copies (I bought one) last week, and Forbidden Planet (NYC) had it too. Weird.

Actually I saw a couple on amazon.ca Ergo Proxy vol.5 there are only two left though. Also I've seen them at a couple of HMVs and Music World in Ottawa. If you get it from a music world it is 20% off because the whole company has gone bankrupt.

Awhile back, someone on these forums found one of the exceptionally rare final two volumes of Aura Battler Dunbine at one of those online stores that sells bootlegs as well as official DVDs. Those stores might be an option; while I don't normally advocate buying from them, there's a chance that they have rare items because "legit" consumers will buy from the normal outlets, and most shoppers at their sites are buying the "import" boxed sets rather than legitimate single DVDs.

Hey, that gives me an idea... *checks a site that sells bootlegs, and stuff that appears to be legit that I only know of because there was a link to it on GameFAQs*

Crap, they have it. That's nuts.

The local Suncoast here had over 20 copies on the shelf last I checked (sometime in October) and it's not rare in any of the other local real life stores either. It's interesting that Fate Vol 5 seems much rarer online than in real life. I wonder if that says anything about how popular online stores are vs real life stores, for purchasing anime? Probably it doesn't I dunno.

Hehe >.< They're out there, but probably in used condition...

I had to buy the whole 1-12 set, used just to get DVD 11 which is all I was missing. Now I have duplicates of 1-10 and 12 Sad
