Anyone here like Yu Yu Hakusho? I love it, great line and characters and most of all great action scenes.

In my younger days, back in college, I chanced across the movie, Poltergeist Report. Even though it was dubbed, I thought it was pretty good. However, after watching a few episodes of the series, I realized that it was going to quickly turn into pro-wrestling, like Dragonball. So, no, I don't like it very much but, then again, I'm old, so don't let my opinion sway you.

I've been a fan of YYH for quite some time now. I think it's a great series (rather long) and dig the characters. I'm reading the manga now in Shonen Jump.
Me like Kurama and Hiei!!
*and I don't mean in that doujinshi kinda way* Cool

I like YYH a lot. Kurama's my fave character. I just bought the "Yoko Kurama" Dvd and it almost made me cry! Embarassed It's a really good series, but I like Togashi's latest series, Hunter X Hunter, even better.

I liked it, at first. However, when they started that one tournament in the big arena (the one where that REALLY cute catgirl was the ring announcer), it just started feeling too much like "Undead DBZ" and it just put me off. Neutral

The fact I was watching the heavily edited Toonami version (trashy dub, too) didn't help, either.

Cool

I love YYH. Boton is on my anime hottie list.

Kuwabara is probably my favorite character. He is a cat lover as am I and showed lots of noble character by taking the beatings for his friend so his friend didn't lose his job.

The catgirl announcer is also an anime hottie and I can see why someone would call it "Undead DBZ"

I like YYH alot, especially the first tournament. The second one is pointless and doesn't really accomplish anything storywise. If anything it raises more questions than it answers. Kurama and Hiei are my favorite characters in the show, they seem the most human to me. Ironic since they are the least human Wink

YYH is one of my faves. i think Kurama is my favorite character from the show. and i agree that the Dark Martial Arts tournament wasn't the best part, and was kinda slow, but the show gets better afterwards.

I really like Yu Yu Hakusho enough to the point that i've spent my last 4 paychecks on Yu Yu DVDs

P.S. If you realyy like Yu Yu Hakusho save up and buy the Dark Tournement Finals. It rocks the Hiz House.

I've loved YYH since the fansub days. (In fact, the only reason I saw Flame of Recca was cus it was a rip-off of said series.)
And I still like it better than DBZ, since the fights involve strategy, and not just mindless yelling and fireballs.

Depends on when FUNimation can dub & send the next batch of episodes...as well as butch--er--edit them. Sorry, I know editing is a necessary evil, but the stuff they've done on Yuu Yuu Hakusho has not only been highly inconsistent, but has derailed a lot of character development, too.

Yes after seeing just the first three fights I'm sweating in my sleep just thinking about what their gonna do to the Kurama vs. Karasu fight.

Is the editing really bad?
