I saw this anime for sale at an import site(If u want to know the site just ask). It's six disks, 42 episodes, sub only, for $60 (normally $75 but it's on sale). Has anyone seen it? Is it any good? There were very few user scores here at ANN, but at the import site it got pretty good scores. I'm thinking about getting it but i could use some more reviews of it. People say that fans of Yu Yu Hakusho and Kenshin will really like this. Anyways, thanks.

It is a good series, but the set you saw for sale was a bootleg set. I think the anime was liscensed last year, so it should be coming out here by the end of the year (I hope).

It didn't even occur to me that it would be a bootleg. Thanks for telling me. I'll look for the US release.

The Recca anime is very good except for the last few eps where they had to make stuff up so that they could finish off the show. I suggest getting the manga because no matter what happens you'll need to read the manga for a conclusion to the story and the conclusion in the manga is actually very good.
