Miami, FL - Florida Supercon returns in 2009! Now in it's 4th year, FSC once again moves into a larger venue as the three day festival continues to grow. This year’s event will take place June 5, 6 & 7, 2009 at the Doubletree Miami Mart Airport Hotel and Convention Center in Miami, FL. The three day festival will take place in the convention center's west hall (50,000 sq. feet) and the convention centers entire second floor (over 35,000 sq. feet) making this the largest genre event to ever hit South Florida. The show will include celebrity guests, artists, writers, vendors, industry guests, Q&A's, parties, costume contests, anime programming, manga, cosplay, workshops, panels, cosplay photo shoots, dance parties, console gaming, LAN gaming, tabletop gaming, collectible card gaming, tournaments and more!

As always, FSC will feature dozens of celebrities, artists and industry guests. Past guests have included the stars of Harry Potter, Clerks, South Park, The Simpsons, Batman: The Animated Series, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Thundercats, Jem, Marvel Comics, DC Comics, Image Comics, Superman: The Movie, The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, Final Fantasy, Full Metal Alchemist and more! This year’s show will include more guests than ever before. Twenty-Three guests have already been set for the show. The initial list includes:

Al Feldstein: Legendary EC Comics creator, Al Feldstein served as Editor, Writer and Artist for EC Comics in the Golden Age. His work has graced the covers of Tales From The Crypt, Weird Science, Weird Fantasy, Shock SuspenStories, Crime SuspenStories,Vault of Horror, Panic and The Haunt of Fear.

Patrick Rothfuss: New York Times Best Selling Author Patrick Rothfuss is the writer of The Name of the Wind and The Wise Man's Fear. Mr. Rothfuss was the recipient of the 2007 "Quill Award", the 2007 Best Book of the Year - FantasyLiterature.net, Publisher Weekly's 2007 Best Book of the Year (Science Fiction/Fantasy/Horror).

Michele Knotz: Anime voice acting star, Michele Knotz is the voice of Team Rocket's Jessie, Misty, May, and Nurse Joy in Pokémon. Michele is also one of the stars of Smash Bros. Brawl and Shootfighter Tekken.

Herb Trimpe: Legendary Comic Book artist Herb Trimpe is best known for his work at Marvel from the 1960's to the 1990's, including art for The Incredible Hulk (for which he enjoyed an eight-year run and is credited with the co-creation of Wolverine in Incredible Hulk #180 and 181), The Transformers, G.I. Joe, Shogun Warriors and Godzilla.

Pat Broderick: Legendary Comic Book artist and animator, Pat Broderick is an icon of the 70's and 80's comic book industry. Mr. Broderick has been the artist for Batman, Captain Marvel, Firestorm, Captain Atom, Detective Comics, Green Lantern, The Micronauts, Shazam, Alpha Flight and more! In addition to his comic book art, Mr. Broderick's animation work includes concept design work for the Jimmy Neutron movie.

Allen Bellman: Golden Age Comic Book Legend. Artist of Captain America, The Patriot, Let's Play Detective, Human Torch, Sub-Mariner and more! Mr. Bellman was the recipient of the 2007 San Diego Comic Con Inkpot Award.

Dana Snyder: Dana may be best known as the voice of Master Shake in the Adult Swim series Aqua Teen Hunger Force, but his extensive list of credits also includes Chowder (Gazpacho), The Venture Brothers (The Alchemist), Squidbillies (Granny), Minoriteam (Dr. Wang), Sealab 2021 and Robot Chicken. Contrary to popular belief, Dana was NOT the "Food-Way Woman" in The Shawshank Redemption.

Bill Rogers: Anime voice acting star, Bill Rogers is the voice of Brock in Pokémon, Touma Seguchi in Gravitation, Yamamoto in Boogiepop Phantom, Tanaka Souihiro in Genshiken, Kevin in The Third and Bonsly, Lucario & Weavile in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

Greg Horn: Superstar Comic Book Artist and Painter. Credits include: Secret Invasion, Ms. Marvel, Elektra, She-Hulk, X-Men, Emma Frost, Wolverine, Namor, Spider-Man and more!

Heidi Arnhold: Heidi is a superstar Manga artist whose work includes Jim Henson's Legends of the Dark Crystal and Star Trek: The Manga.

Ralph Cabrera: Superstar artist of Spider-Man, X-Men, Fantastic Four, Iron Man and more!

Sophie Mcnutt: Industry Guest. Funimation's Operation Anime Co-ordinator.

Terry Cronin & Pat Martin: Independent Comic Book creators. Students of the Unusual.

Rob Granito: Superstar Artist. Teen Titans Go, Warner Bros., USPS Marvel Postage Stamp Artist.

Greg Kirkpatrick: Independent Comic Book Artist. Living in Infamy, Novavolo, Savage Dragon.

Plus: Manuel Aguilera (Artist), Jiro Tamase (Artist), Deleon Walters (Artist), Joel Estrada (Artist), The Cringe (Alternative Rock Band), The Earth Dies Screaming (Nerdcore Band) and Natalie Wood (Artist).

Dozens of more guests will be announced in the coming months.

The new location for FSC is The Doubletree Miami Mart Airport Hotel and Convention Center, 711 NW 72nd Ave, Miami FL. 33126. FSC will take up over 85,000 sq. feet of space at the convention center, which will include over 120 vendor booths (showcasing comic books, trade paperbacks, graphic novels, toys, anime, manga, clothing, accessories, DVD's, CD's, books, autographs and more!), a 9,000 sq. feet main events area, console gaming, LAN gaming, tabletop gaming, card gaming, panel rooms, anime viewing rooms and movie screening rooms.

The convention hours of operation are:
FRIDAY, JUNE 5: 3:30PM - 2:00AM
SATURDAY, JUNE 6: 11:00AM - 2:00AM
SUNDAY, JUNE 7: 11:00AM - 6:00PM

General Admission (3) Day Weekend Pass
$25 if reserved before March 1, 2009
$30 if reserved between March 2 and May 20, 2009
$35 if reserved between May 21 and June 4, 2009 online and at the show.
Single Day passes are available online and at the show for Friday ($20), Saturday ($25) and Sunday ($20)
Children under 10 years old are FREE when accompanied by a paid adult.
Parents accompanying children over 10 years old are eligible for a Parents ticket (which provides a $10 discount)
Military, Police and Firefighters get a $10 per ticket discount.
VIP Tickets are available for $150
