I hope we see the review for the Fullmetal Alchemist Live Action film a day after its release on Netflix, same criticism that should be applied to reviewing an anime series released on Netflix, given how many days we waited for Devilman Crybaby.

Also, where are the reviews for the new Berserk series, and Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches? I wanna know more about the first one since everyone talks about how bad the art direction is, but never talk about how bad or good is the writing in adaptation.

The reason for that is that you can get that just by reading the manga (which a lot of the detractors have), Why shower praise on the anime that constantly breaks immersion with pathetic presentation when there's a version that never puts you through that?

The movie was great because it was a comedy. It did things a little half-assed but that's what Gintama is. It would be ridiculous but that's what it's supposed to be. I laughed so much and yet enjoyed the over-arching story. I love the anime/manga though and I think you might need that knowledge ahead of time. It's a companion movie.

I definitely agree with this. The reviewer mentioned the bad costumes at the beginning. I remember seeing a regular guy with one of those horse masks on that was supposed to pass off as an amato. To me, it felt like Gintama knew they were on a low budget and were owning it. Have no budget for the amount of aliens needed? Okay, let's make it as ridiculous as possible. Despite the bad costumes in the opening, I thought it was done in the spirit of Gintama.
