What a shame. I was reading this week after week, but I think the author made a mistake when they forgot the story about two adults making manga together —with a tiny bit of romance— and became "Manga Making 101", with another character taking the main spot in the story.
Before that, the sales of the first volume were good enough, after the change, they dropped. I will miss immovable Fudô and over-worried Wakaba.

Absolutely fuming about this one getting axed
It was genuinely a fun exploration of manga making with great characters with great designs and art. It even had a fun duo that aren't high schoolers! I wish Japanese audiences weren't so interesting in generic slop and gave these manga's the attention it deserved. Another great series that ended too early... |

I was so happy to have recently chanced upon this manga while looking for another manga that I had lost track of, and now it's ending? It had really good art and facial expressions, and I really liked how it used the idea of re-igniting the need to achieve abandoned goals. I also appreciated that it was not about school students, and rather was about adults who are in their twenties. This is extremely sad.

I liked that our MCs kept everything professional, and not try to force romance (Wakaba treated Fudo like a little brother, for example). I think the manga still had a lot of gas in the tank, but I guess Japan didn't like it enough....
