How does the artwork in Tesoro compare to her previously published (in English) works? Is it similar? Different?

It's fairly similar - a bit less refined, maybe. If you didn't mind her art in her other works, this shouldn't be a deterrent. Basically however you felt about her art in, say, Ristorante Paradiso should stand up to this.
