Akiva Goldsman (A Beautiful Mind) will oversee the writer's room and serve as executive producer of the films. Michael Chabon (The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay), Brian K. Vaughan (Y: The Last Man, Saga), and Nicole Perlman (Guardians of the Galaxy, Captain Marvel co-writer) are in charge of planning the interconnected universe.

Other members of the writing room include:

  • Lindsey Beer (Kingkiller Chronicle adaptation)
  • Cheo Coker (Luke Cage showrunner)
  • John Francis Daley and Jonathan Godldstein (Spider-Man: Homecoming)
  • Joe Robert Cole (Marvel's Black Panther)
  • Jeff Pinkner (The Dark Tower adaptation)
  • Nicole Reigel (Dogfight)
  • Geneva Robertson (New Tomb Raider project)

Hasbro's chairman and CEO Brian Goldner and vice-president and CCO Stephen Davis will produce the films at Allspark Pictures. Hasbro's head of storytelling Josh Feldman will serve as co-executive producer. Hasbro artists will also play a role in the writer's room as they will be available to help create concepts and characters for the films.
