Description:
SIDE ONE
THE BIRTH OF ASTRO BOY
(Episode 1)
In the year 2000 A.D., the brilliant scientist Dr. Boynton, grief-stricken when he loses his son Astor Boynton III in an automobile accident, decides to create a super-robot in his son's image. He calls the robot Astro Boy. Astro Boy can swim oceans, leap over mountains, and even fly into space under his own power! However, when Astro Boy fails to grow, Dr. Boynton becomes dissatisfied with the boy robot and disowns him. Astro Boy, after falling into a series of misadventures, is befriended by Dr. Packadermus J. Elefun, who becomes his friend and guardian.

THE MONSTER MACHINE
(Episode 67)
When Dr. Muddle builds a radio telescope, he gets more than he bargained for when he makes contact with Ork from Numan Luman. Under Ork's direction, he creates a machine which teleports Ork to Earth. However, this machine does not bring the scientific exchange that Dr. Muddle was looking for, and only Astro Boy can stop Ork and his monster machine!

SIDE TWO
THE TERRIBLE TIME GUN
(Episode 77)
Dr. Tempo, who covets the director's sear at the Institute of Science, perfects a time gun which can send its victims back to Tenth Century England to keep them from interfering with his plans. Can Astro Boy help Dr. Elefun find a way back to their own time?

ONE MILLION MAMMOTH SNAILS
(Episode 14)
Professor Nutty Fruitcake has developed a new hobby: growing giant-sized fruits and vegetables in his secluded mountain observatory. When the novelty of growing plants wears off, he takes to breeding giant animals—in particular, snails. However, these placid creatures change when they become super-sized, and Astro Boy seems to be the only hope after the Army, Navy and Marines fail.
