Super Sonico's dakare makura cover is for men who "want to be hugged back"

The Japanese maker Aoshima's Skynet brand is selling a life-size dakare makura pillow cover of Super Sonico (Sūpaa Soniko), the mascot of the computer game maker Nitroplus (Phantom of Inferno, Demonbane, Fate/zero, Steins;Gate). Unlike the typical daki makura (literally, "pillow for hugging") for other characters, this dakare makura (literally, "pillow for being hugged by") cover has arm-shaped mini-pillow parts attached "because what men really want is not to hug, but to be hugged back."

The 160 by 50-centimeter (about 62 by 20-inch) dakare makura cover will go on sale in August for 10,500 yen (about US$130). (The actual inner pillow is sold separately.)

Update: Also in August, Nitroplus will sell Sonicomi, the interactive software inspired by the Sonico mascot.
