Hello Kitty Picnic with Sanrio Friends 3DS Game Announced

Video game publisher Majesco Entertainment announced on Wednesday that it will release a new Hello Kitty game, Hello Kitty Picnic with Sanrio Friends, on the Nintendo 3DS during the upcoming holiday season. Majesco will be working with development partner Chaotic Moon to release the title.
Hello Kitty Picnic with Sanrio Friends will follow Hello Kitty as she prepares for a picnic adventure with her friends. The game will feature 10 mini-games, and players will have the ability to explore environments, and earn apples to exchange for special outfits and accessories for Hello Kitty. The game also has a multi-player mode, enabling players to use other Sanrio characters such as My Melody, Keroppi, Chococat, Badtz-Maru, and the Little Twin Stars.
In a separate announcement, Sanrio revealed via a video on Wednesday it has released a Hello Kitty mobile game in Japan titled Hello Kitty World.
In Hello Kitty World, players can build their own amusement parks with attractions and shops using more than 100 items. The game will also feature a social media aspect where players can show off their amusement park to friends via Facebook or Twitter. Characters featured in this game include My Melody, Kikilala (Little Twin Stars), Cinamoroll, Kuromi, Charmmy Kitty, Pom Pom Purin, and Patty and Jimmy. The game is currently available for iOS devices.
