Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers' 2nd Promo Streamed

posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
Nintendo 3DS port of 1997 Sega Saturn game with new opening animated by Satelight

The official channel for Atlus's port of Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers began streaming the second promotional video on Friday. Enterbrain's Famitsu website previously streamed an earlier promotional video for the Nintendo 3DS title.

The RPG is expected to go on sale on August 30 for 6,279 yen ($80 USD). The port will feature a new opening sequence animated by the studio Satelight, full voicing of dialogue, smoother animation, and quicker loading and response times. The game was previously released in 1997 for Sega Saturn and 1998 for the PlayStation console.

The game revolves around the members of a hacker group called "Spookies" who fight against a huge conspiracy.
