Band has performed themes for Naruto Shippuden, Bleach, latest Pokemon film

30-year old Ikimono-gakari leader Yoshiki Mizuno (far left in photo) announced on the band's official fan club website that he married a woman without ties to the media industry on Saturday. He is the first member of the band to get married. The guitarist did not reveal anything else about his wife's identity, but commented on her personality:

She's far more serene than I, and far more bright and fun […] As a man, I would like to hold my head higher than ever before. As a songwriter, I would like to write even gentler, even stronger songs.

Vocalist Kiyoe Yoshioka commented, "This time you're the leader of the household as well! Make sure to make a happy home-life!!" Guitarist Hotaka Yamashita also commented, saying, "I am hoping that you have a long, happy life with your family."

The band Ikimono-gakari has performed many theme songs for anime, including two opening themes for Naruto Shippuden, the second opening for Big Windup!, the seventh ending theme for Bleach, the theme for last year's Detective Conan: The Eleventh Striker film, and the theme for this summer's Pokémon the Movie: ExtremeSpeed Genesect.
