Build-A-Bear has continued to update its exclusive line with pop culture characters to entice both children and collectors. Characters like Charmander, Pikachu, Eevee, and Sonic the Hedgehog have found their way into the workshop. The company is expanding its line-up with special costumes that can be worn by Pokemon and Bears alike who want a Mighty Morphin' power.

U.S., Canada, and U.K. Build-a-Bear locations and online stores are adding Power Ranger costumes and two new bears. Red Ranger Bear and Pink Ranger Bear are now available while costumes of the original five colors (Red, Pink, Blue, Black, and Yellow), blaster, pajamas, slippers, and sleeping bag accessories, and a sound chip that plays the television series' original theme song.

The Lionsgate live-action Power Rangers film opens in theaters on March 24 and in Japan on July 15.

Lionsgate describes the new Power Rangers film:

Saban's Power Rangers follows five ordinary high school kids who must become something extraordinary when they learn that their small town of Angel Grove – and the world – is on the verge of being obliterated by an alien threat. Chosen by destiny, our heroes quickly discover that they are the only ones who can save the planet. But to do so they will have to overcome their real-life issues and band together as the Power Rangers before it is too late.

The live-action film's heroes are played by Dacre Montgomery, Naomi Scott, Ludi Lin, R.J. Cyler, and Becky Gomez.
