Popular Actor Issei Takahashi Has Light Stick Skills for Days

Popular actor Issei "Issey" Takahashi has come a long way since he first starred in Studio Ghibli's Whisper of the Heart in 1995. He joined the Ultraman family, starred in the live-action adaptation of One-Pound Gospel, Detroit Metal City, March Comes in like a Lion, and Hideaki Anno's Shin Godzilla. By all means he's a mainstream success, but Takahashi also has some enviable otaku abilities.
In a new commercial for Kirin alcoholic beverages "Atarashikuikō" ad campaign, specifically the Hyoketsu (freezing) alcoholic beverage line, Takahashi decides to try out wotagei, a type of dance that combines the rhythmic dances used at idol concerts with light sticks. The best known group is Ginyu Tokusentai who join Takahashi for this commercial.
Takahashi is actually pretty good!
Is there something you've always wanted to try? Let Takahashi's fearlessness be an inspiration and of course, drink responsibly.
