Toei Animation Museum Opens With Interactive Displays in Tokyo
posted on by Jennifer Sherman
Toei Animation will open the Toei Animation Museum on the grounds of its Ōizumi Studio in Tokyo on July 28. The new museum is an update of the Toei Animation Gallery, which closed its doors in September 2014.
Toei Animation Museum features displays of production materials from Toei Animation's works. Visitors can look up and view videos for the company's works on a giant touchscreen.
The museum's event space currently features the "Precure Asoberu Hiroba" (Plaza Where You Can Play With Precures) exhibit. The exhibit, which even small children can enjoy, includes photo spots, a giant puzzle, and a toy experience corner. Other features of the museum include a courtyard with blackboard and character goods shop.
The museum is open for special guests from July 20-27 before it opens to the public on Saturday. Admission is free.
