Detective Conan's Tōru Amuro Makes Surprise Appearance in German Music Video

The popular Detective Conan character Tōru Amuro made a surprise appearance in German singer-songwriter Alexa Feser's latest music video "1A." A person wearing the head of a Tōru Amuro plush doll is shown in the video with Feser, accompanying her on her adventures in Japan.
The video attracted the attention of Tōru Amuro voice actor Tōru Furuya, who tweeted, "What the-! An Amuro doll in a music video! (@_@)"

The Amuro plush dolls were a common prize in Japanese UFO Catcher arcade games during the promotional campaign of the Detective Conan: Zero the Enforcer film in 2018. They could be considered one of the many iconic sights of Tokyo depicted in the music video, although that doesn't stop it from being a surreal sight for many viewers.
In 2015, Alexa Feser was one of seven established artists who took part in the Unser Song für Österreich, the song competition in Austria to select the country's representing song for Eurovision.
