Anchor Bay Entertainment Announcements

According to Anime Nation, Anchor Bay Entertainment has confirmed that they own the US DVD distribution rights to Angel's Egg and Nausicaa of the Valley of Wind. Angel's Egg was directed by Mamoru (Ghost in the Shell) Oshii, and features designs by Yoshitaka Amano(Vampire Hunter D). The version of Nausicaa to be released by Anchor Bay will not be the infamous Warriors of the Wind but the uncut, 116 minute long Japanese version. Both of these titles are currently scheduled for release in December. Anchor Bay has not yet announced any details regarding the presentation of either film or what, if any, special features will be included.
