Another Documentary on Anime Fandom

Joining Invasion Anime and Otaku Unite!, Live Sockets Entertainment has announced “Go Go Anime!”, a documentary that focuses on anime fans.

Go Go Anime! follows several individuals, including the famous Sailor Jamboree cosplay group, around for several days during Anime Expo 2003. Excerpted from their website:

We followed 3 groups/individual and saw how their lives revolve around the world of Anime. Sailor Jamboree was the first group that we approached... They invited us to one of their practice sessions at their home...

The Otakus comprised of Glenn, Al, and John, gave us a completely different perspective as they represented the older generation of avid collectors. Glenn not only opened up his soul to us, but his house, family, and workplace as well...

Finally, Henry took us on a journey as he strives to become a professional Manga artist...

With all the activities that go on during Anime Expo, it was our job to follow these 3 groups through their experience at the convention.

Live Sockets will be promoting the documentary at Anime Expo 2004.
