Anime Central Updates Rules After Badge Shipping Delays

The Anime Central convention updated its registration rules Thursday after a number of members reported they had not received their badges yet. A batch of special anniversary badges was accidentally shipped by parcel mail late last month, so these members faced the possibility of not receiving their badges before the May 11-13 convention. However, under existing rules, they would have had to pay a non-refundable US$25.00 fee to get a replacement badge at the con. Anime Central has updated the rules so missing badges can be replaced at the con for US$5.00—refundable after pre-registration is verified.
