Funimation to release 3D CG science-fiction film on DVD on Tuesday
The Japan Information and Culture Center of the Embassy of Japan and DC Anime Club will screen Fumihiko Sori's computer-graphics Vexille film for free on May 29 at 6:30 p.m. in Washington, D.C. The film centers on a future Japan that shuts its borders in techno-political isolation, and an American special forces unit that infiltrates Japan to investigate a terrorist threat. The film will inaugurate the center's new series of showings based on anime and manga. Funimation will officially release the film on DVD on Tuesday.
