Seikon no Qwaser/Joō no Shōzō, Otome Yōkai Zakuro anime to premiere in October

The official website for the Seikon no Qwaser anime franchise has begun streaming a 91-second excerpt from the upcoming Seikon no Qwaser/Joō no Shōzō project off YouTube. The original anime DVD (OAD) features an "Episode #10.5" with the character Katja (Aya Hirano). It will ship with the 10th volume of Hiroyuki Yoshino and Kenetsu Satou's original Seikon no Qwaser manga in October.

The second 15-second television commercial for the anime adaptation of Lily Hoshino's Otome Yōkai Zakuro supernatural historical manga has begun streaming on the anime's website on Tuesday. The story is set in an alternate version of Japan where humans and yōkai (demons) co-exist. The government has established a Ministry of Yōkai and Humans to deal with the incidents that flare up between the two races. The ministry is composed of human representatives, yōkai representative, and one girl named Zakuro with half-human, half-yōkai blood. The anime will premiere in Japan on October 4.

The official website of the animation studio P.A. Works (true tears, Canaan, Angel Beats!) is hosting the second 100-second promotional video for the studio's 10th anniversary work, Hana-Saku Iroha. The project features original character designs by Mel Kishida (So-Ra-No-Wo-To) and an image song, "Patricia," sung by nano.RIPE. The story centers around Ohana Matsumae, a 16-year-old Tokyo native who ended up working at a onsen ryokan (hot spring inn). In the video, Matsumae introduces her friends and acquaintances who will appear in the project, although the video contains no actual animated footage.
