Final volume in sequel OVA series to ship on July 20

The production company TMS Entertainment has begun streaming a 110-second promotional video for the sixth and final DVD and Blu-ray of the second season of Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas - Meiō Shinwa, an original video anime series based on Masami Kurumada and Shiori Teshirogi's manga of the same name, on its YouTube channel on Monday. The fifth DVD and Blu-ray of the series was released on Wednesday.

The final volume will ship on July 20. It will contain episodes 24-26, and will have audio commentary by the cast and Teshirogi.

The first season of the series was released between June 2009 and April 2010, and the second season was green-lit in March 2010.

Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas - Meiō Shinwa serves as a prequel to the original Saint Seiya series, taking place 250 years prior to the events of the original series. The story revolves around the Pegasus Saint Tenma and his friend Alone, who eventually develops into Tenma's greatest enemy: Hades.

Crunchyroll is simulcasting the series on its website.
