RightStuf: Heaven's Lost Property Forte Gets DVD-Only Release (Updated)

The North American anime retailer Rightstuf revealed on Wednesday that Funimation has changed the format for its release of Heaven's Lost Property Forte to a DVD-only release. Rightstuf notes that the price for the limited edition set has also been lowered to US$64.98.
Funimation released the first season of the Heaven's Lost Property television anime series as a DVD/Blu-ray Disc combo set on December 20 for US$69.98 for the limited edition and US$64.98 for the regular edition. Funimation will release the complete set of Heaven's Lost Property Forte on March 20.
Funimation did not reply to a request for comment by press time.
Update: Funimation responded, "In order to bring Heaven's Lost Property Forte to our fans as quickly as possible, the March 20, 2012 release will contain a 2-disc DVD set. The packaging will also include a 4 color filler box with limited edition art cards exclusive to this set. We apologize for any confusion."
