Total Eclipse Studio Dismisses Artist Linked to Alleged Tracing

Sou Miyata credited with art with similarities to other titles' illustrations
The animation production company Ixtl (Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse) posted a notice on Monday stating that it dismissed artist Sou Miyata on Sunday. Ixtl states that Miyata will have no more involvement with the company. Ixtl does not specifically state the reason for Miyata's dismissal.
Miyata's art for Total Eclipse has recently been accused of tracing. Several Japanese blogs have posted comparison images between a Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse magazine image (pictured at center) that is credited to Miyata and illustrations from other titles (pictured at left, at right, and below).
