Anime Limited's First Film Release Screens in Glasgow Sunday

posted on by Andrew Osmond
Film is not Evangelion 3.0, but a new film not yet announced in America.

The Glasgow-based company Anime Limited has confirmed on its facebook page that its first anime film acquisition will be shown as the 'surprise film' at Glasgow Youth Film Festival on Sunday February 10.

The company also confirmed that the film is not Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo, but that it is a 'new' film, and one that has not been announced for release in America.

The Glasgow screening will be preceded by a cosplay competition judged by a celebrity panel. The joint item begins at 5 p.m. and has a running time of three hours, according to the website. It is part of the Glasgow Youth Film Festival. The venue is the Glasgow Film Theatre on Rose Street (map).

Two other anime films are shown earlier at the venue on the same day: Mamoru Hosoda's The Wolf Children Ame and Yuki at 12.45 p.m.; and Studio Ghibli's From Up on Poppy Hill (directed by Goro Miyazaki), at 3 p.m. Both are in Japanese, with subtitles. The films have no adverts or trailers, beginning at the scheduled times.
