Kantai Collection's DMM Files 'Oshiro Collection' Trademark

The video rental service and PC game developer DMM filed for registration on the trademark "Oshiro Collection" (Castle Collection) on December 4. The trademark for game software, as well as printed material and toys, was made public on Thursday.
DMM and Kadokawa Games are the makers of Kantai Collection (Fleet Collection) moe-character card battle game. The game features cards with female moe characters inspired by Japanese World War II warships such as aircraft carriers, battleships, and cruisers. Players build, organize, and repair their anthropomorphized fleet to progress through maps. An anime adaptation by studio diomedéa is in the works.
