Rensuke Oshikiri Launches 2nd Derodero Horror Gag Manga

This year's 10th issue of Kodansha's Young Magazine included the first chapter of Rensuke Oshikiri's Derodero 2-maime (Derodero Second Round) on Monday. Derodero 2-maime is a sequel miniseries to Oshikiri's original Derodero horror gag manga series.
The horror gag comedy follows Mimio, a middle school boy whose sixth sense causes him to see supernatural beings, which he defeats with a baseball bat. He is accompanied by his younger sister Ruka, who has a strangely strong resistance to the occult, and his dog Saito-san, who is weak against supernatural creatures.
The original series ran from 2003 to 2009 in Young Magazine. Another of Oshikiri's horror gag series, Pupipō!, ran in the free web comic magazine Flex Comix Blood from 2007 and 2009, and was adapted into an anime in December. His arcade romantic comedy Hi Score Girl is also inspiring an anime.
