Square Enix Files 'Shinra Company' Trademark

Video game developer Square Enix filed to register the trademark "Shinra Company" in Japan. The trademark was filed on December 27 and made public on Thursday.
Shinra Company is the name of a fictional corporation within Square Enix's Final Fantasy VII role-playing game and compilation series spin-offs.
Square Enix also filed trademarks for "The Seeds of Salvation," "Luminaries of the Legendary Line," "Dragon Sky," "Circle of Mana," "Occult Maiden," "Star Ocean," and "Slimeshot."
