Love Stage!! Boys-Love Anime's Promo Video Previews 2 Songs

Singer Daigo stars in July TV anime of manga co-created by his sister

Kadokawa began streaming the second promotional video for the television anime of Eiki Eiki and Taishi Zaou's Love Stage!! boys-love manga on Friday. The video features both the anime's opening theme "LΦVEST" by SCREEN mode, and "CLICK YOUR HEART!!" by Kazutomi Yamamoto.

    Ryōma: I... I like You Izumi, even if you are a guy!
    Izumi: Good morning, Lalalulu. You're super cute today, too!
    Text: An otaku college student who's aiming to become a manga artist: Izumi Sena
    Izumi: I'm going to become a manga artist! What I'm aiming for is the Kadoyama Manga Award, and the deadline is at the end of the month!
    Ryōma: Ms. Izumi! It's been so long!
    Text: The super-popular actor who makes the present sparkle: Ryōma Ichijō
    Text: Those two end up filming a commercial together...
    Ryōma: Um... I...
    Izumi: Huh?
    Text: The one he fell in love with was a man...
    Izumi: What am I!? Boys-love!? The receiving end (uke) in boys-love!?
    Ryōma: I guess this means that my feelings I've had for ten years won't disappear so easily...
    Text: The reunion after ten years is the beginning of sparkling days!?
    Shōgo: If you do the work, I'll give it to you!
    Text: A sparkling love comedy brought by Eiki Eiki and Taishi Zaou!?
    Rei: Then what do you intend to do in the future!?
    Izumi: Do even guys feel nipples!?
    Rei: They do.
    Man: I'm so sorry!
    Izumi: What are you doing? Give me back my glasses.
    Ryōma: So cute...!
    Ryōma: There's nothing I can do but give into the fact that after ten years, my feelings aren't going to change just because you're a guy.
    Ryōma: Please. Take off your clothes!
    Izumi: Hm? Wha-!?

Ryōtarō Okiayu as Seiya Sena, Izumi and Shōgo's father who is the president of Sena Pro.


Sayaka Ōhara as Nagisa Sena, Izumi and Shōgo's mother who is a popular actress.


Kazutomi Yamamoto as Kōsuke Sotomura, Shōgo's manager.


Ryōhei Kimura as Takahiro Kuroi, a member of Izumi's manga club at college.


Kyōko Sakai as Kazumi Shino, a manager at B-DASH.


Showtaro Morikubo as Kojirō Ryūzaki, the president of B-DASH.


Junji Majima as Tenma Hidaka, Kojirō's secretary.

The anime adapts Eiki Eiki and Taishi Zaou's boys-love manga series. The story revolves around Izumi Sena, a boy born into a family of ultra-famous entertainers. However, he is the only member of the family who is not in the entertainment industry, and he is a super otaku college student, too. He has been striving hard to become a manga creator, but he ends up starring in a television commercial. He eventually cross paths again with the very famous actor Ryūma, who becomes aware of his attraction towards Izumi.

Kenichi Kasai (Major, Bakuman., Nodame Cantabile) is directing the series at J.C. Staff. Michiko Yokote (xxxHOLiC, Squid Girl) is working on the series composition while Yōko Itō (key animator for Tantei Opera Milky Holmes, Turn A Gundam) is in charge of character design. The show will premiere in July.
