CyberConnect2, Studio Khara Compete With Animated Shorts

Game developer CyberConnect2 began streaming two animated shorts titled "Studio Khara vs. Cyber Connect 2 Compete! Animation Showdown!" on Friday. Both CyberConnect2 (.hack, Naruto Ultimate Ninja games) and animation production company Khara (Rebuild of Evangelion films) made animated videos using the same models and scenarios. The companies will present their videos at the CG World 2014 Creative Conference on November 23, and a winning video will be chosen.
Both videos depict a battle between "CC Chū" (a pun on the name "CyberConnect2" and the sound a mouse makes) and "Kuroneko" (Black Cat).

CC Shishō: Th-This is bad! Take this!

Khara:
CC Chū is the unofficial mascot of CyberConnect2, and CC Shishō is CC Chū's teacher. CC Chū's gender is intentionally unclear.
Masanori Iwasato directed Khara's video, Isao Takeshita directed CyberConnect2's, and Chikayo Fukuda composed the music for both. The cast includes Hitomi Toyose as CC Chū and Izumi Nagata as Kuroneko. The CyberConnect2 video also includes Kento Hirakawa as CC Shishō and Hideto Kawahara as the system.
