Spinoff series has more than 1 million copies in print

Shueisha's Jump Square published the 25th and final chapter of Hikaru Miyoshi's Kanshikan Tsunemori Akane (Inspector Akane Tsunemori) on Thursday along with the announcement that the sixth and final compiled volume will ship in Japan on January 5.

The website also announced that the manga has more than one million copies in print.

The manga is a spinoff of the Psycho-Pass anime, and began running in Shueisha's Jump Square magazine in its December 2012 issue.

Funimation Entertainment licensed the original Psycho-Pass anime, its "new edit" version, and is currently streaming Psycho-Pass 2 in Japanese and in English as it airs in Japan. Mag Garden's Monthly Comic Blade is running another manga spinoff, Psycho-Pass: Kanshikan Kōgami Shinya (Psycho-Pass: Inspector Shinya Kogami).
