Ace of Diamond The Live Stage Play Gets 4th Play in Spring 2017

3rd play based on baseball manga ran in Tokyo from August 19 to September 4

The official website of the Ace of Diamond The Live III stage play adaptation of Yūji Terajima's Ace of Diamond (Daiya no A) baseball manga announced on Thursday that the stage play series will get a fourth installment in spring 2017.

The original Ace of Diamond The Live stage play ran last year from August 1-9 at the Zepp Blue Theater. Pony Canyon released the performance on DVD in November 2015.

Ace of Diamond The Live II ran from March 17-21 at Tokyo's Galaxy Theatre, on March 24 at Nagoya Bunri University Culture Forum's Great Hall, and from April 1-3 at Osaka's Morinomiya Piloti Hall. A home video release of the musical went on sale on August 3.

Ace of Diamond The Live III ran from August 19 to September 4 at the Zepp Blue Theater in Roppongi.

Office ENDLESS produced the plays, while voice actor and scriptwriter Shintarō Asanuma (Ace of Diamond's Yōichi Kuramochi, Majestic Prince's Toshikazu Asagi) directed the plays and wrote the scripts. The main cast members have included Ren Ozawa as Eijun Sawamura, Tomoki Hirose as Satoru Furuya, and Takuma Wada as Kazuya Miyuki.
