Bandai Namco Entertainment announced that it will release an add-on pack for its Summer Lesson virtual reality game on December 1 for 1,490 yen (US$13). The add-on pack, titled Summer Lesson: Miyamoto Hikari Second Feel, will add six outfits for Hikari and add situations where the players "feel they are actually touching the character in front of them." Specifically, the player and Hikari will be able to feed each other cake, and the player can help Hikari treat an insect bite.
Bandai Namco Entertainment released the first pack, Summer Lesson: Miyamoto Hikari Seven Days Room, in Japan on October 13 as a launch title for the PlayStation VR headset. Before its release, the project was used as a demonstration of the PlayStation VR. The game will get an English subtitled release in early 2017 in Southeast Asia.
In the game, players interact with the character Hikari Miyamoto through a number of conversations and situations. Players act as her summer tutor over a seven-day period.
