Episode to screen theatrically in Japan on Saturday

NBC Universal Anime/Music began streaming a new promotional video for Gochūmon wa Usagi Desu ka?? Dear My Sister — the new special episode for the Is the order a rabbit? (Gochūmon wa Usagi Desu ka?) anime — on Thursday. The video previews the theme song "Sekai ga Café ni Nacchatta!" (The World Became a Café!) by new singing unit "Petit Rabbit's with beans," a new singing unit comprised of the same main cast members as the television anime's "Petit Rabbit's" unit plus Maya and Meg.

The episode will begin screening in 40 theaters in Japan on November 11. The episode's theatrical screening was slated to premiere this spring, but it was postponed.

Hiroyuki Hashimoto is returning to direct, but at the animation studio production doA instead of Kinema Citrus and WHITE FOX (the studios behind the previous television seasons). The original manga's creator Koi and Hashimoto are credited with the original story concept and script, and Yousuke Okuda returns as the character designer. Ruka Kawada is also returning to compose the music. The cast is also returning.

The first season of the anime premiered in Japan in April 2014, and the second season premiered in October 2015. Crunchyroll streamed both seasons as they aired in Japan, and Sentai Filmworks licensed both seasons for North American release.
