Voice Actress Makiko Nitta Passes Away

The official website for the Kenyu Office agency announced on Friday that voice actress Makiko Nitta passed away suddenly on Thursday from aortic dissection.
President Kenyuu Horiuchi stated in the notice that the agency will provide details about a funeral service at a later date.
Nitta played minor roles in Nodame Cantabile: Paris, Fairy Musketeers, Blue Dragon, Tytania, Chocotto Sister, The Story of Saiunkoku, Our Home's Fox Deity, Blassreiter, and Beelzebub. She also played Mitsue Yoshikawa in Bokurano, Yoshie Suzuki in Birdy the Mighty: Decode, Sister in Kick-Heart, Tamara in Tales of the Abyss, and the bakery woman in Say, "I Love You".
Additionally, she also voiced Maria Theresia in the Bara ni Kakusareshi Verite visual novel. She has also voiced radio commercials, drama CDs, and has worked as a narrator. She also performed in plays and chaired events, and also voiced dub roles for foreign films and series.
