Space Battleship Tiramisu Anime's 1st Promo Reveals Cast, Staff, April Premiere

The official website for the television anime adaptation of Satoshi Miyakawa and artist Kei Itō's Uchū Senkan Tiramisu (Space Battleship Tiramisu) updated on Thursday with the first promotional video, new key visual, main staff, cast, and April premiere.
The cast is as follows:
- Kaito Ishikawa as Subaru Ichinose
- Takahiro Sakurai as Isuzu Ichinose
- Junichi Suwabe as Vulgar Hummer
- Takuya Eguchi as Subaru-B
- Akio Ohtsuka as Narrator
The tagline in the visual reads, "The Earth was blue. The brothers were idiots."
Hiroshi Ikehata (Robot Girls Z, Seiyu's Life!) is directing the anime, Yū Satō is handing the series composition, and Ai Yokoyama (Bayonetta: Bloody Fate) is designing the characters. As previously announced, Studio Gonzo is providing the animation.
The series will air Monday mornings at 1:00 a.m. on Tokyo MX, Sun TV, and BS11, and stream at 2:00 a.m. on Hikari TV.
The science fiction gag comedy follows the everyday life of Subaru Ichinose, the ace pilot of the space battleship "Tiramisu." Since he cannot get used to being surrounded by older pilots, Subaru shuts himself in the cockpit of his personal ship "Durandal."
Writer Miyakawa (Haha o Nakushita Toki, Boku wa Ikotsu o Tabetai to Omotta.) and artist Itō launched the ongoing manga on Shinchosha's Kurage Bunch website in October 2015. The fifth compiled book volume will ship on March 9.
