posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
Manga about body double of noble in war-torn country launched in 2016

Shogakukan's Sunday Webry manga website published the last chapter of Yuuki Iinuma's Libra of the New Era (Shinsei no Libra) manga on May 25.

The fantasy manga is set on a fictional island nation named Yakoku, located in the center of the world's seas. The country is currently in the throes of a revolution by reformists pushing for equality, but the conflict has only escalated poverty and inequality. The manga centers on Sezu, a man in the dregs of society who is visited by Kaoru Mamiya, a member of the country's ruling Mamiya family, to serve as his body double.

The manga launched in Shogakukan's Monthly Sunday GX magazine in January 2016, but moved to Sunday Webry in January. Shogakukan published the manga's fifth compiled book volume on April 19.

Iinuma's ended the Itsuwaribito Utsuho manga in August 2013. The series ended with 23 compiled volumes. Viz Media licensed the Itsuwaribito manga in North America, and the company published the 23rd volume on April 10.
