Getter Robo High Mahjong Manga Ends With 3rd Volume

Amazon is listing the third compiled book volume of Bingo Morihashi and Drill Jiru's Getter Robo High manga as the last volume. Takeshobo will ship the volume on November 1.

The manga is based on Ken Ishikawa and Go Nagai's Getter Robo anime and manga franchise. The taglines for the manga read, "The legendary 'transforming robot' and 'mahjong' combine!!" and "Getter Rays!? Atlantis!? Tile Beasts!? All the mysteries will be explained with 'mahjong'!!!!!!!"

Morihashi and Jiru launched the manga in Takeshobo's Kindai Mahjong (Modern Mahjong) magazine in January 2017.

Eiichi Shimizu and Tomohiro Shimoguchi launched a Getter Robo spinoff manga, Getter Robo Devolution: Uchū Saigo no 3-bun Kan (Getter Robo Devolution ~The Last 3 Minutes of the Universe~), in Akita Shoten's Bessatsu Shōnen Champion magazine in December 2015 and ended it this past June.
