Ani-One Simulcasts Jujutsu Kaisen, The Dreaming Boy Is a Realist, More Anime in India

Jujutsu Kaisen streams every Thursday at 9:26 p.m. IST, The Dreaming Boy Is a Realist streams every Monday at 11:30 p.m. IST, The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses streams every Tuesday at 9:00 p.m. IST

Ani-One began streaming The Dreaming Boy Is a Realist (Yumemiru Danshi wa Genjitsushugisha), the new Pony Canyon anime series, in India on Tuesday and will stream an episode of the anime every Monday at 11:30 p.m. IST. The company announced on Facebook that it will stream the following anime in India as they air in Japan:
  • The television anime adaptation of Koume Fujichika's The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses (Suki na Ko ga Megane wo Wasureta) manga will begin streaming in India on July 4 at 9:00 p.m. IST.
  • The second season of the Jujutsu Kaisen anime will stream for Ani-One Ultra subscribers on July 6 at 9:26 p.m. IST.

Alongside India, all three anime titles will stream in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, Fiji, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Laos, Macao, Malaysia, the Maldives, Marshall Island, Micronesia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nauru, Nepal, Pakistan, Palau, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Tonga, Vanuatu, and Vietnam. The Dreaming Boy Is a Realist will also stream in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mauritius, New Caledonia, Samoa, Solomon Island, and Tuvalu. The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses will additionally stream in Solomon Island and Tuvalu. Jujutsu Kaisen will stream in Mauritius and Samoa.

The second season of Jujutsu Kaisen will premiere on July 6 on MBS and TBS and 28 affiliated channels. Crunchyroll will stream the second season as it airs in Japan in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and the CIS. Crunchyroll will stream the series with English subtitles, and will also produce dubs in English, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Castilian Spanish, and Russian.

The second season will air for two cours (quarters of a year) for a continuous half-year run. The anime will adapt both the "Hidden Inventory / Premature Death" ("Kaigyoku/Gyokusetsu") arc and the "Shibuya Incident" arc of Gege Akutami's original manga.

Shōta Goshozono (Jujutsu Kaisen episode 8, 17 director) is replacing Sunghoo Park as the anime's director. The new cast members include Anna Nagase as Riko Amanai, and Takehito Koyasu as Toji Fushiguro. Tatsuya Kitani performs the opening theme song "Ao no Sumika" (Blue House), and Soushi Sakiyama performs the ending theme song "Akari" (Lantern).

The Jujutsu Kaisen television anime premiered in October 2020, and it had 24 episodes.

The Jujutsu Kaisen 0 anime film opened in Japan in December 2021 and opened in India in June 2022. Amazon Prime Video added the anime film in India in December and Crunchyroll added it in India in February.

The Dreaming Boy Is a Realist premiered on TV Tokyo on July 3 at 26:00 (effectively, July 4 at 2:00 a.m.).

In the "two-way unrequited love" story of The Dreaming Boy Is a Realist, high school student Wataru Sajō is in love with his gorgeous classmate Aika Natsukawa. Aika finds him to be a nuisance, but he dreams of her mutual love every day and continues to approach her. One day though, he suddenly wakes up from this "dream." In order to get back his sense of reality, he recognizes his position and stays away from Aika. But now for some reason Aika is completely shaken.

Kazuomi Koga (Rent-A-Girlfriend, Kubo Won't Let Me Be Invisible) is directing the anime at Studio Gokumi and AXsiZ. Michiko Yokote (Shirobako, Prison School, Cowboy Bebop, Rurouni Kenshin) is in charge of the series scripts. Masaru Koseki (World's End Harem, Demon King Daimao) is adapting Sabamizore's original character designs for animation. Hajime Takakuwa (Rent-A-Girlfriend, Spice and Wolf) is the sound director. Pony Canyon is producing the music.

The anime is based on Okemaru's Yumemiru Danshi wa Genjitsushugisha light novel series.

The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses premiered on Tokyo MX on July 4 at 11:00 p.m. JST

Komura always has his attention fixed on his deskmate Mie, who wears thick glasses that accentuate her lovely eyes, making Komura's heart skip a beat. But one day, Kaede notices something different about Mie: her eyes are squinting, and her glasses are missing. Thankfully, Komura is more than willing to help her. As Mie starts relying on him, Komura's feelings for her grow even more. Will his heart give out from the almost daily strain of being up close and personal with his crush?!

Susumu Kudo (chief director of The Masterful Cat Is Depressed Again Today, director of K, Cinderella Nine) is the chief director of the anime at GoHands, and Katsumasa Yokomine (The Masterful Cat Is Depressed Again Today) is directing the series. Tamazo Yanagi is writing the scripts. Shingo Suzuki is the concept artist, Takayuki Uchida is the character designer, and Hiroshi Okubo is the main animator. Chief animation directors include: Keiji Tani, Makoto Furuta, and Takayuki Uchida. Hisashi Muramatsu is the sound director at Glovision. Jimmy Thumb P is composing the music at Flying Dog.

Fujichika launched the manga in Square Enix's Gangan Joker magazine in November 2018. Square Enix Manga & Books is releasing the manga in English. Comikey has also licensed the manga from Square Enix and is releasing it in English digitally.
