Only by braving strange landscapes and loathsome monsters in the extended single-player campaign can players hope to discover the full collection of Valkyrie, who will then join them in the adventure. After a Valkyrie has been defeated, she can be added to the active party and will increase in strength as you commit resources to her development - culminating in a romantic encounter when affection rises high enough.
