Final Fantasy Makes a Grand Return in Fourth Collaboration With Puzzle & Dragons

El Segundo, Calif. - Sept. 11, 2017 - GungHo Online Entertainment America announced today that Square Enix's beloved, role-playing game FINAL FANTASY has returned to the hit mobile game Puzzle & Dragons for a fourth-time collaboration available until Sept. 24.

This beloved collab with FINAL FANTASY builds off previous iterations by introducing new characters, evolutions, dungeons, and bosses from the iconic series. Encompassing an expanded roster of 28 beloved characters, the FINAL FANTASY Egg Machine now includes newcomers such as Balthier, Prompto, Yda, and Reynn & Lann to the puzzle-matching foray.

Additionally, new Ultimate Evolutions have been added for select characters that transform them into pixel art -- retro FINAL FANTASY designs. Details of the FINAL FANTASY Egg Machine are below (sorted by rarity):

This collab also features five dungeons, two with brand new floors for "Teams of 4 or less." Completing each of these floors will award players the material Pixelit, which is crucial to powering up and evolving certain characters into their Pixel Ultimate Evolutions. In addition to all this new content, players with a Rank of 50 or higher will receive an in-game mail to pull a random collab character from the Rank 50 Final Fantasy Egg Machine for a limited time.

Glauca from KINGSGLAIVE FINAL FANTASY XV will also be available exclusively at the MP shop for 200,000 Monster Points (MP).
